We’ve seen the FonePad already but ASUS isn’t done yet with the announcements. ASUS also introduced the PadFone Infinity as a follow up to the original PadFone. This new model is a first and foremost a smartphone that when placed in a tablet-dock will show a bigger display. It’s bigger with a 5-inch screen, 1080p resolution, 1.7GHz Snapdragon 600 quad core chip, Adreno 320 GPU, and Android 4.2. The tablet offers a 1,920 x 1,200 pixel resolution display when in use.
Other specs of the phone include the following: 2GB RAM , 32GB/64GB built-in storage, EDGE, GPRS, GSM, WCDMA, LTE and DC-HSPA+, WiFi, Bluetooth 4.0, NFC, A-GPS, GLONASS, 13-megapixel camera, LED flash, and a 2MP front camera. The phone supports nano-SIM.
Phone will be out in Europe this coming April starting at £799/€999. Available in hot pink, gold, and gray.
