Apple working on an iOS-powered iWatch?

The iPod Nano turned into a watch was just a product of creative and quirky minds. I’m sure Apple didn’t think of the Nano to be used that way but some people are just too excited to be cool. Rumor has it that Apple is launching an official watch product – the iWatch.

The iWatch is rumored to run a full iOS and is due before 2013 ends. But since this one is a smaller gadget, there could be issues with battery life. The current prototype according to The Verge, can only run for about two full days. This is not good as the Pebble watch, its obvious future rival, can last up to five days.

iOS on the iPod Nano Watch? That seems very interesting. Imagine a smaller iPhone experience right on your wrist. If that happens, I’d be ready to ditch my phone and just use an iWatch and an iPad instead. As for the phone, I could get a very basic handset to make calls and send texts.

I hope Apple will focus on its battery life if and when there is an iWatch.
