
SMS-killer WhatsApp now has 250 million users. WhatsApp company itself confirmed and shared this information with The Wall Street Journal. The number now makes WhatsApp one of the biggest text-messaging platforms for smartphone users.
WhatsApp was launched four years ago but it is now known as one of the top paid iOS apps in the US. On the Android side, it is number 31 among the free mobile apps. The app is definitely useful as it offers free SMS exchange, allowing the users to save on premium SMS charges.
