
Google Wallet is going to see some changes soon. Why, by the 21st of August, Google will be dropping the NFC function off loyalty cards and Wallet-stored gift.
Google is also recommending that users spend their balances before the deadline given. Don’t worry only the digital cards are required to be used up. Physical store cards can still be used later
As to why they’re doing this, Google said it’s working on more efficient loyalty card and gift redemption system. I wonder if it really isn’t that efficient now….
