Omate TrueSmart Smartwatch is truly smart

September 30, 2013

Even if Apple hasn’t introduced an official smartwatch and being a revolutionary brand, I’d like to think that we are entering a smartwatch era. With all the smartwatch introductions we’ve been hearing lately, that wrist gadget is bound to be very popular as it is useful.

The latest model to be announced is the Omate TrueSmart
Smartwatch that also works as a full phone. Unlike the Samsung Galaxy Gear and the Pebble smartwatches which still need a smartphone as partner, the Omate can work on its own. That’s why it’s called True Smart.

Making it more impressive is the fact that it’s scratch- and water-resistant. It runs on Android 4.2 and works with a Fleksy keyboard, allowing you to type despite the small 1.54-inch screen.
