
Still not convinced about the future of 3D printing? Well, maybe this 3D-printed speaker will. Yes, plastic shells with magnetic and conductive pieces can be printed and the material used to make speakers.
Cornell researchers were able to print a loudspeaker from 3D-printed materials. Sound quality is not as great but good enough and can be improved in the near future.
The main point of this is that the speaker is made using 3D printer from the plastic shall to the magnetic parts.
