Some kindred soul is gifting me with a smart TV this Christmas. I don’t know which brand yet but I guess it doesn’t matter. I just want my old television replaced by one that will allow me to play all my media files on HD or Blu-ray.
I want to make the most of it but I know that not all smart TVs are created equal. But thanks to LG for coming up AllJoyn that will allow one to control on-screen activity. Simply run the app on any Windows, iOS, or Android and be able to control your smart TV that supports AllJoyn.
No mention when AllJoyn will be released but we’re guessing at the CES this coming January 2014.
