Microsoft’s new CEO Satya Nadella has yet to fully function within the company but two executives are already leaving. Biz dev EVP Tony Bates and marketing EVP Tami Reller are believe to believing the software giant for a number of reasons. The company has not confirmed the news yet but it’s somehow expected.

Tony Bates is believed to be after the CEO position but lost to Nadella. It’s just a speculation but almost every company sees that kind of departure from their pool of executives.

And as for the Skype executive leaving Microsoft after the new CEO appointment, it’s not good news for the company but the behaviour is normal. No big idea why Bates is leaving Microsoft. Rumor has it that EVP of advanced strategy Eric Rudder will take over his duties for the meantime. Reller is said to be replaced by Microsoft marketing exec Chris Capossela and to also lead advertising.

All these information followed after Julie Larson-Greens was assigned as Applications and Services Group’s Chief Experience Officer and will be replaced by Stephen Elop. And if these upcoming changes within Microsoft are true, then we can expect more similar changes to happen–just a few of the many this year. We’ll see.
