The All New HTC One or the M8 is becoming a recent favourite, what with all the leaks and information being shared. Full specs have already been exposed though but we have yet to see the smartphone on March 25. I’m guessing the leaks won’t stop just yet until the official announcement. But some impatient dude managed to be selling a boxed HTC M8 on eBay. No idea how he or she got a Verizon-branded HTC M8 but the smartphone is now listed at $499.99, up from the starting price of $199. Read more
Microsoft’s new CEO Satya Nadella has yet to fully function within the company but two executives are already leaving. Biz dev EVP Tony Bates and marketing EVP Tami Reller are believe to believing the software giant for a number of reasons. The company has not confirmed the news yet but it’s somehow expected. Last month, we learned that TSMC would deliver A8 chips to Apple and not Samsung. The Taiwan Semiconductor Manufacturing Company previously confirmed that production of the 20nm chip will be delayed, no thanks to a “specification issue”. Whatever that means, at least, we know that TSMC and Apple’s partnership will bring us the next-generation iPhone. Read more

So we’re anticipating the arrival of the Normandy, Nokia’s very first Android phone. Nokia exec allegedly confirmed this yesterday and now we hear that the phone was recently certified in Malaysia and Indonesia. This could be somewhat related to the Asian executive giving a hint.
I knew that time will come we’d need 3D maps. I even imagine that someday we’ll see a holographic version. You know, the Star Wars kind or maybe something like from an Iron Man movie. But no need to wait that long as Google recently rolled out 3D maps of Tokyo. I haven’t been to Japan so I’m excited to see at least the city of Tokyo in 3D maps. Read more
Facebook has recently acquired a New York-based startup called Branch. The company is into multiple social discussion tools and looks like they will be working with the top social network to form the Conversations group for Zuckerberg. No confirmation from either of the party but we heard a $15 million deal. Read more
Got a Windows Phone device? If you own one, you might have Bing as the default search engine. But how come only half of all Windows Phone users actually use it? Only 52 percent use Bing while the rest use Google. This is not surprising though as Google is still the top search giant whether on desktop or mobile. Read more
We saw this happening in the future but not anytime soon: digital music sales went down last 2013. Purchases dropped by six percent as reported by Billboard. Dropping a small 0.1 percent is digital album sales. As for CD sales, it went for the worse with a 14.5 percent decrease. Read more
