LG is expected to launch a new handset. Nothing is official yet but looks like the LG Optimus Vu is for real. The smartphone features a 5-inch multitouch display screen, 5.3 aspect ratio, 1024 x 768 pixel resolution, microSD card slot, dual core 1.5GHz Snapdragon processor, 8MP camera, 8GB storage, and 1GB RAM.

RIM tried to join the tablet bandwagon but has yet to be a success. The hardware is great by industry standards but the software of the Playbook isn’t impressive. For one, the Blackberry tablet doesn’t have a native e-mail app which is actually basic.

The Nintendo Wii U has not fully launched but looks like it will have a rival soon in whatever Sony is working on. Sony already has the PS Vita which could do a number of things but it’s not a total Wii U killer. Read more
