In the past, 128 Kilobytes of data is considered huge but nowadays we are munching up more and more storage space with all the data we accumulate everyday. JPEGS from our cameras, MP3 files, and with HD video, we are needing more and more space more than ever. But projections from CenturyLink tell us that we’re all in for a deluge of big data. CenturyLink says that we will see a four-fold increase in data being create and replicated by the year 2015. This year alone, the company projects that 1.8 zettabytes of data will be created  and by 2015, it’s gonna be a a whopping 7.9 zettabytes.
