Find my iPhone app helps cop track down a thief

Not all cops are techie but I hope more will be like Robert Garland who arrested a thief after tracking him down with the Find My iPhone app. A cashier at Avenue of the Americas, Tuci Italia called the police to report her iPhone being stolen. Officer Garland know of the Find my iPhone app and luckily, the woman has the app installed. Using iCloud and only the Apple ID of the victim, Garland’s team managed to track down the thief.
