[CES 2012] Audiovox Brings Android HeadRest with DVD Player, Apps to CES

Audiovox today showcases an Android-powered accessory that brings app to cars – specifically, those headrests. The custom headrest system from Audivox Electronic Corporation connects to a wifi network and provides entertainment to passengers at the back. Expect in-car social networking, web surfing, and a whole bunch of apps from the Google Market Place. Movies can also be played via the DVD player, or even media content from SD cards via the SD slot. It also has HDMI and USB support.
