Android Market Reaches 400,000 Apps Mark

Driven by an increase in free software, Android users can now peruse at over 400,000 apps on it Android Market store. Catching up fast with Apple’s 500k apps, which has slowed in growth, Google’s
market is now the largest app store in the world that offers free apps, with 68% of titles being offered for free. Now what Google needs to do next is figure out how to milk the hell out of these apps, since compared to Apple, it doesn’t get much revenue off the app business.
