Windows Blue is coming soon. Microsoft now calls it the Windows 8.1, a free update to the latest OS specially the Windows 8 and Windows RT versions. We saw a preview a few months ago . A part of Western Digital’s family of Blue hard drives, the UltraSlim is a new 2.5-inch internal hard drive that’s only a mere 5mm thick which packs 500 GB of storage and comes with a tiny edge connector combining power and SATA interface. Laptops of the world can now breathe freely with this new thin alternative to the usual 9.5mm drives. The WD Blue ultra-slim hard drive is 36 percent lighter than standard mobile hard drives, weighing in at just 74 grams, or 2.61 ounces. via

Sad to share this but the PC market has experienced what could be the worst slump ever. Who’s the blame? Market researchers blame Microsoft with its new operating system–the Windows 8. Why, shipments of notebooks and desktops were bad in the first quarter of 2013, down by almost 14 percent which is only 76.3 million units according to IDC analysts.
