The new tablet is now available in Taiwan complete with a a 1.4GHz quad-core Snapdragon MSM8226 CPU, 1GB RAM, 960 x 540 screen on phone mode, 1,280 x 800 resolution on tablet mode, microSD slot, and two batteries (1,500 mAh and 2,200 mAh). ASUS seems to be still busy with the tablet division that it’s been spotted dropping off something at the FCC. A new Transformer Pad Infinity seems to be coming our way since an FCC listing shows a 10-inch tablet packed with the standard specs of GPS, Bluetooth, WiFi, speaker, rear-facing camera, and a keyboard dock. It’s going to be a hybrid tablet just like the previous model.
We know this one is coming: the ASUS MeMo Pad FHD 10 LTE. Just the name of the tablet sounds like it’s so fast and powerful. It is as it runs on a quad-core Qualcomm SoC chip. mehr »

Poor sales of Windows RT PC units? That’s unfortunate but Asushas decided to pull out support for the operating system. CEO Jerry Shen mentioned that “Windows RT has not been very susccessful”. That is one heavy statement but it’s true, therefore, not really surprising that Asus has come to that decision. mehr »
