CES 2014 is just around the corner but Lenovo went ahead to kickstart the year with an announcement. Lenovo recently introduced its first ever 4G/LTE phone in the form of the Vibe Z. The device seems to be a latecomer but actually, we’ve seen this last November already. The LTE version has just been released complete with a quad-core Snapdragon 800 processor, up to 16GB storage, 2GB RAM, WiFi, 13-megapixel f/1.3 camera, and a 5MP front camera. mehr »
One of the most popular smartwatches this 2013 is the Pebble. Looks like it will even be a bigger thing this coming new year as an app store will be coming to the smartwatch. Nope, that’s not the Apple App Store but Pebble’s very own where all apps will be ready for download. We know Steve Ballmer would be replaced as CEO anytime soon but looks like the search for a new CEO will take a while. We’re expected an early 2014 announcement but Board member John Thompson said otherwise.
Ballmer announced his stepping down from the position within 12 months. After that, we’ve heard of a few names come up being considered for the job. We heard about the COO of Qualcomm Steve Mollenkopf and then there’s Stephen Elop of Nokia and Alan Mullaly of Ford too.
We have no idea who will be the rightful successor but we hope that person will help bring Microsoft into a better and brighter future. I guess we’ll just have to wait and see. mehr »
I’ve never forgetton Art Lebedev and his Optimus keyboard. His idea is great but the price is just too high. But if we make a few changes and use e-ink instead, them we would see a customizable keyboard that is affordable and easier to use. mehr »
