We learned that the new iPad is now out of stock and released day has been moved to the 19th of March instead of the 16th. Now it’s been estimate that the Cupertino company could sell 1 million new iPads on launch day as estimated by Piper Jaffray senior research analyst Gene Munster.
The idea is based on past Apple iPad launches. This makes sense because it’s only less than a week since the product announcement that it’s sold out already. The latest is that from March 16 to March 19, ship dates are now two to three weeks because of the “off the charts” pre-orders we learned from USA Today. As to how many units are included in the pre-order inventory, we have no idea.
