3D Systems

No doubt the 3D printing has become bigger this year. I know for sure that the technology will become even bigger this year what with the many advancements we’ve seen. And just before 2013 ends, 3D Systems bought something from Xerox. The latter is a company known for industrial copiers and office printers.

3D Systems spent some $32.5 million for the acquisition of the solid ink product design branch of Xerox which includes the IP, labs, and the team. Everything will then be used by 3D Systems for the new 3D printing industry. With the two giants’ partnership, we’re certain to see 3D printing going a long way and more popular this 2014.
