E3 Robot: Welcome to the family!
December 19, 2008
The E3 is a family robot that could very well become a real part of your family. It’s just a robot alright but the way it functions is way better than a real human at times. I mean, it responds to your emotions that way you want, educates, and even entertains. Of course, it’s been programmed and can still be customized if you want. Read more

The Scarab: The soon to reign “lunar lovely” robot, eh?
December 3, 2008
Mineral exploration events on the moon have been quite impossible for man, considering there is no light for energy and to find your way. So guess what Carnegie Mellon decided to do to make this possible? They designed the robot that you see up there. And no, it is not a normal bot. Read more
Mickey Mouse Robot: Nope, it’s not the hidden Mickey…it’s a pricey robot!
November 26, 2008

Nao Humanoid Robot: Still far from the future…
November 23, 2008
One of my favorite TV shows right now is the Terminator. I haven’t seen any of the Terminator movies but the Sarah Connor Chronicles version makes me think of the future when robots would act and look like humans. All I know is that human-like robot is far from reality or at least will be seen hundreds of years from now. Read more

I-Dog Soft Speaker: It’s cute, it’s cuddly, and it plays music too!
November 19, 2008
The I-Dog Soft Speaker isn’t an animal robot that can do tricks but this one is just a cute speaker. Doggie speaker is soft and cuddly you’d want to bring with you to sleep.
Features of the I-Dog include LED lights on the face. It has ears that wiggle to the music. Actually, it’s the 2nd version already but this one here is more advanced obviously.

Danball Finger Massaging Robot isn’t a robot, it’s a masseuse
November 19, 2008
The Danball Finger Massaging Robot isn’t exactly a robot but at least it gives your finger some love. This one looks like a bowling ball because of the holes. Insert your fingers then have them massaged using shiatsu techniques.
Vibrations do the job massage so maybe we can say that this is just a vibrating device but the Danball features an LED light show, melody, and infrared rays. The IR is said to improve fingernail growth while the LED and music bring relaxation.
The Danball massanger can be very helpful but the $1,991 price tag is just too much.
